Jennifer Temple Named GM Hill & Knowlton San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, USA - Hill & Knowlton today announced that Jennifer Temple, senior vice president, has been promoted to general manager of the San Francisco office, effective immediately. Temple will report to global CEO and Chairman Paul Taaffe.
“Jennifer is well-known for her strong counsel, great judgment in the face of pressure and producing amazing results for her clients,” said Paul Taaffe. “Her significant talents in client service and team management will serve our firm well in this critical leadership position within the Bay Area marketplace.
Temple joined H&K’s Houston office in 2003. A native of California, Temple relocated to San Francisco in 2005. She specializes in corporate positioning and executive communications and serves as the firm’s global client service director for Hewlett-Packard. She provides the agency account team and HP with strategic counsel and direction around corporate announcements and overall issues of reputation. During her tenure at H&K, she has also provided support to clients like QUALCOMM, Symantec, Panasonic and Sony DADC.

Temple has significant experience in corporate media relations, marketing communications and public affairs in a wide array of industries including technology, real estate and financial services. Prior to joining H&K, she served as senior director of marketing communications for The Irvine Company, a real estate development company in Newport Beach. She previously served as vice president of corporate communications for Banc of America Securities (formerly Montgomery Securities) in San Francisco. Additionally, Temple worked as an assistant press secretary to California’s former governor, Pete Wilson.
